SERVICES
Outside of my holistic sports medicine consultation, I offer group and private classes in the following practices !
ACROYOGA
Acroyoga is a mix of various movement arts (principally yoga, acrobatics, dance, circus, and massage/relaxation) with each practitioner manifesting these differently. Commonly associated with the circus art of partner acrobatics, acroyoga is an accessible alternative using synchronized body movement and breath as well as body stacking to create partner sequences and poses, tapping into creativity, body awareness, communication skills and increasing physical and mental fitness. It brings in the playful, powerful and technical influences of acrobatics, the healing qualities of massage and relaxation techniques as well as the mindfulness of yoga. All levels welcome.

SPORTS ASANA & YOGA THERAPY
These yoga classes are purposefully designed to be incorporated into training programmes of sports enthusiasts, and meant to provide injury prevention techniques to protect them in their field and to increase overall sports performance.
There will additionally be a therapeutic approach for musculoskeletal injuries or pain. Because physical yoga practice requires the coordination and mind-body awareness of many major and minor muscle groups simultaneously and focuses on breath and alignment, it tends to differ from other conditioning methods that emphasize active engagement of only certain areas of the body. The holistic philosophy and physical practice of yoga provides a mind-body approach to improve one’s body awareness, psychological resilience and physical capacities (core stability, flexibility, strength, coordination, breathing). |
KIDS & FAMILY YOGA
Designed specifically for children and families, ACROCHANTI teaches fun sequences to increase mindfulness, body awareness, strength, flexibility, balance, confidence and communication. Classes are full of laughter and may include, for example, age-appropriate games, animal sounds and creative names for poses !
Yoga can help expand children’s (and parent’s !) verbal and non-verbal vocabulary, to communicate emotions beyond behavior. Family classes additionally offer a space for happy, healthy quality bonding time. |
